NEW YORK. Dan Henry has parked his powerful gasser Nova with high front and straight axle at a burger bar upstate New York. Dan looks as powerful as the car with his t-shirt stretched across the broad chest.

– Hi, I say, and is greeted by the broadest smile and the biggest hand.

Dan throws himself into the trunk and give me a poster of his car. He tells of their cruising in Kenvil dubbed Cops’n`Rodders because so many cops go Rodding there.

The Nova SS: from 1964, has bored 350 to 355 block 350 transmission and 3.55: 1 in the ten bolted rear axle.

-I’ve Put a rollercam in it and on top there’s a Edelbrock manifold with a Holly 450 your son has to try it, he says, tearing up the driver’s door!

My twelve year old son’s eyes are like ping pong balls where he’s taking place behind the wheel. Dan Henry fires up the  engine.

-Hit The pedal, he says.

Krantz junior throttles and Dan chuckles loudly.

-Right One son, he says, right on.
