Playing on Saturday and Krantz&Krantz singer Gottfrid is sick without voice . Cancel? Forget it. The show must go on.
To play in a band and book tours are special. Think of it. Try it for fun yourself. Book the 26th of February six months in advance and promise yourself that you are healthy and in top shape when the day comes. Book even the 3 March 15 March 1 april, , April 15, May 10 and the twenty more dates with the same warranty.
Then sit back and watch your commitments.

The singer without voice
Gottfrid had no voice and had the flue
Juniskär coastal restaurant with a seafood buffet, smoked shrimp and booked band were counting on us. The announcement was already made.
Ready steady … and we had no one who could sing. Who … who can jump in? Who knows our songs? Who cuts it without exercise and act as an artist in addition. There is a difference between singing a few songs and rock the ass a full play night
There was only one who could jump in.

Our daughter, who started with us in the band, now she has her own band, CD:s and tours, Ellen Kay Band, Sala.
Emergancy
I´m free, I will show up mom and dad, she said. Son Alfred came home with his guitar and we rehearsed on the terrace before coffee.
I noticed how professional she had become . Orderly, relaxed, confident, full notice.
She sorted quickly out the songs in the repertoire she thought about doing , asked for a few starts and stops and merged the cover before coffee refill
-There we go, no problem she said.
Showtime
The following day we rigged happily and when it was time to step in, she stood there, Ellen Kay, big brother Alfred guitarist by her side and her old band behind she nailed the choruses as if she had never been away.

Gottfrid , who can sing no matter how sick he is, though not for long, opened his throat and delivered one, two, three, four songs in a row, waved to Ellen who switched place with him and while Gottfrid drank honey water, she just didn’t hold positions on stage.
– She took the show to new heights.
All of a sudden everybody.
After a while, all three kids on stage simultaneously.
Playing joy , family joy the whole train with break, harmony singing, guitar solos, vamps, codas and accapella rushed on the rail.
Everything flowed and mother enjoyed every minute as she photographed the unique opportunity from the dance floor with all together again.
Hugs
We hugged at the bus before Ellen turned south to Sala in the night and the rest of us turned north.
Mother cooked more honey water to the small one and texted her beloved girl to stay awake heading on south.
The arctic sky never darkened the 20th of June 2015. A day an d night where the light, warmth and joy reigned.

In a bout six days Krantz & Krantz are standing on two stages in Hällefors. First on the town square, then in the park. Then everything rests on little brother Gottfrid again while Ellen Kay Band rocks the summer elsewhere.
