Many .. ohh and ahh .. when the society programs three grades from Ådalsskolan in Kramfors visited Härnösands car museum in September 30, 2015.
– Ohh, what cute, ohh what stylish and waoow … several students gasped when the gates went up to Swedens largest automobile museum located in Harnosand. Secondary schools from Kramfors “did the neighboring town” with a study of both the County Museum and Museum of the Automobile.
The museum’s creator Calle Lundqvist came for the day dressed in vest and a 1959 Cadillac to meet the young.
After an initial flashback from the car s cradle and Henry Ford’s invention, the assembly line was the gates opened to the America Hall where Lars-Åke Krantz received and talked about how the gasoline was purchased at the pharmacy in the car’s childhood in Sweden
-There after you got gas in the country store, and in 1918 was the first gas station built in Sweden. It was called MACK and was in Norrköping, he said. The students also saw a Chevy from 1958, that the actor Silvester Stallone had own.
Between the stations students took selfies among the cars, and many found their favorite of the day. Kim Söderholm and Christian Berglund Sahlin had a long good look at the Volvo Amazon.
Extra fun was all the questions that came spontaneously. They responded eagerly from both modern historic – as mechanical perspective of the museum staff. The students were interested. Many tested themselves at Question boxes.
Andreas Westin took the students on a journey through the 1900s, where teachers took the opportunity to save the perspective.
Then it was time for the eastern made cars and the fall of the Berlin Wall with the museum’s owner Calle Lundkvist.
-The countrys in the east and their Trabant cars ran curiously out through the wall with its 18 hp to find that BMW and others in the west had developed into 180 hp, he said.
An hour and a half went by quickly, and no one had a hurry to rush out to the buses.
– Hmm, the shots in Dallas in 1963. Let’s see now 1, X or 2
Niklas Libell who built the Lotus Super Seven-inspired car with Megabusa Engine was the museum’s new favorite. Emilia Nordlander (left) Asa Eldeklint (right) and Hannah Isaksson (standing) knew exactly which car they wanted to pet. Read more about it on www.libell.nu
-Many stopped at the cell phone exhibition (background) where different models were discussed, said Mariana Granados in the reception.
Teachers Bo Gustafsson, Peter Hedberg and Johan Högberg thanked for guidance and lobbied among the students for a Big Mac before the journey home to Kramfors.
