Watch out for husslers on Craigslist
US Cragigslist is equivalent to the Swedish Blocket. Here everything can be found. Recently, two Swedish families got ripped off when they rented accommodation for several weeks and paid in advance.
After the payment the “landlord” couldn’t be reached. The picture on Craigslist was false and likewise the address. (The pictures have nothing to do with the actual case.)

Just make sure you rent through a contact you have confidence in.
