-Thanx and enjoy.

On December 11, 2013, a 700 HP Hennessey C7 became the first 2014 Corvette Stingray to break the 200 mph barrier by reaching a maximum speed of 200.6 mph.

This was achieved on a closed section of the Grand Parkway which connects I-10 to Hwy. 290 on the west side of Houston, Texas. Officials from TxDOT, Texas DPS and TransCore were on hand to witness the testing of the EZ tag toll system. Special thanks to TxDOT Chairman, Ted Houghton.

The Hennessey C7 Corvette was equipped with the company’s HPE600 upgrade with the addition of a 100 HP Nitrous Express kit.
