Sometimes Elvis sneaked out right by waiting fans at the Gracelands gates disguised. Here’s the car he used.
Recently, Elvis secret getaway car was presented. It has been under a tarp in Graceland since the 60’s. Elvis, the King of Rock & Roll, and former trucker kept the style.
-When Elvis sometime wanted to go away like a common man, he dressed up as an oldtimer in a cap and jacket.
Seated in a melted Chevrolet panel truck from 1948 Elvis rattled off the streets a free man. It is said that he got trouble with the car at one point and was outside, trying to fix it near Graceland without anyone giving notice.
No one could imagine that the King chafed in a dented, rusty jalopy from -48.
The old Chevy was revealed recently after having been covered since Elvis’s death in 1977.
