Hammarstrands perky peaks gets the blood rushing in men and womankind. Nature speaks strongly. In its valleys meander sparks of life and the motor hobby multiples.
Tuesday Rock in The Hammer pulled music fans from several provinces. Peters awesome interpretation of Roy Orbison initially was bad ass. Stunning voice, and one of the few that sounds like in studio in the real world.
Hammarstrand nestled in the Swedish summer luxuriant scenery.
The Club
In 1996 the first hill climb was held. The following year started the Club Nostalgia and the year after that the bus garage was bought
Club Nostalgia is centrally located in the village with their expedition local and a paved giant plane opposite the police.
Mattias Timan and Stefan Fröberg from Harnosand came to see their idol.
Club house pulsates
CLOSED it says on a glued paper at the police station but the club premises opposite pulsates with life and movement.
It’s just a rainy Tuesday in July but Peter Jezewski ensures that the cars meander in and there are lines at the entrance.
The party
Around 100 people was already there at eight o’clock. (Swedish music parties starts at 11:30 p.m.) (Yeah I know, crazy) There after people joined in and the temperature rose in front of the stage if it sank around and got the river to deliver its bewitching bolsters that gave every infield a cinematic expression.
A huldra set foot on the stage and took the festival atmosphere a notch higher on the scale
The hill climb.
The hill climb in Hammarstrand was full again. 70 vehicles means 140 entertaining rides in the steep gravel slope.
From Norway came two vehicles this year. Everything is running at a high pace with well-oiled team.
The cruising
The cruising made history in the 2015. It was like a pump, that pumped cars in to Hammarstrand. From all sides they came and cranked up until it was overly filled .
Then some more cranks on the pump and the cruising pressure swelled across all borders and. . . everyone talks about the Hammarstrand invasion.
Annelie Strand sold merch. during the evening. Annika Lindström was one of the evening’s organizers. Nettan from Hammarstrand liked the visit and was “on”.
The aniversary
Next year is the 20th anniversary of Hammarstrand hillclimb and on the field in front of Jezewski plans were made. Gunnar Forsström and Allan Bergman imagined several days, more activities, more party.
First year 1996 featured the music group Go Getters. Mabye it’s time to pick up the 20 years more scared old men now to become full circle in a multi-day anniversary with the cruising pump on for 72 hours.
Hammarstrand hammers on.
