This arrange a car meet is not “just” in our country, especially not if you want to sell alcohol in the hospitality tent. When we started the hit Mid Sweden Nat`s we were quite unaware of what rules . But with a collaboration with a restaurateur so we got a little idea of what is involved. Although the restaurateur has a license for alcohol, a new temporary permit applied for dining at another place, and that state cost several hundred dollars
Fences
Around the dining area there will be a fence we found out. We built a fence and one of the municipality’s alcohol officer came and approved the fence. The meeting was conducted and a number of local social worker came and inspected during the evening.
After a week, I get a call from an alcohol administrators and being told that our fence was not approved despite their previous approval. And she who called was the same person who was approving our fence, and she blamed that she was stressed when she inspected the fence so so so slim it through.
To hit the year there on we will be called to the police and informed about what applies to the fences. It’ll be a tight fence with a minimum height of 1.2 meters so it is not possible to send out a beer can between the slats.
Most wanted police that we would have a 2 meter high fence wire cover, nice to sit at such and expensive.
We wondered why the fences around the restaurants’ outdoor cafes in town could be approved which is only about 50 inches high? We did not direct any explanation as to why they are approving.
But the barricades would be approved, but where it all goes to send out a can of beer through the fence, but it apparently constituted an approved demarcation.
You can not understand these rules. The meeting ran on for several years and our fence was approved, but we have a meeting every year with the Police and the municipality.
And now we were suddenly told that we had no dance permission ?! However, we will arrange a car meet with entertainment with orchestras on a stage in the evenings and no dancing.
Then there is this thing with guards as it is also mandatory. The first five six years, the number and cost acceptable to them, they perform the work well and keep order.
But then one year it was a tokskalle who ran and waved a knife inside the area overnight. But the guards intervened and the guy had to go to the police. The following year, when we sought Police permission would guard the number almost tripled from last year’s event.
And with a guard cost of almost 70 000, we must always try to negotiate down guard number. Why should it be needed six guards from when the meeting opens and it is mostly families with children and usually well behaved people there?
We book meeting with police in Hudiksvall and we go there, we and the watch officer. We managed to bargain down the guard service at an acceptable cost, however, is considerably higher than previous years. When the meeting is almost finished so he rings who put up posters me and says that I must immediately move the car because I’ve taken a place that was rented.
We scramble out and walk towards my car but sees no car standing there and going in the parking lot. So I ask where he could park anywhere? Will then find out that there is a person standing at the Ford Mach One.
Now he quickly walking towards me and starts barking reached so terrible.
– “How in the h-ews you can park in a rented parking space? If you are not literate? Do not you see the sign? And your f ** chided # – * ¤ …… etc “, bark and curses continues, I do not think I ever got such a scolding.
I can not answer without totally ignoring him, which makes him even angrier,
He wading around me and barks but I do not see him, he is not.
We sit in the car and drive out of the parking box, and the barking man sits in the Ford Mach One.
I stop at the exit of the parking lot to see if he was with Ford Mach One Park where I was standing, but he also stops when I stop.
I hit the road and he does it well, I’ll stay again and he stays after me. Here we go away and Ford Mach One run and turn onto another street. If I had taken his parking so he must surely have been on someone else’s rented place.
And he ended the apparently for the day and was not supposed to park there, so what was the problem?
But it was well so that “Do not piss in my territory” was very important to him.
Enforcement Authority is being in the same house so maybe he was a grumpy bailiff.
