-Ohh, you thought Power Big Meet in Västerås was the biggest! Well that’s the rumor around but … no. Power Meet is three days in one city.
CLASSIC CAR WEEK
Classic Car Week is 7-10 days in three towns. We’re talking county’s filled with customs, hot rods, classic cars, tractors, muscle cars, Mopar Meet with 700 Chargers, Cudas and Road Runners plus a dragstrip, boats, old excavators, junk yard sight seeing , car auction, you name it. We’re talking Dwight Youcam live on stage and campings and bars everywhere with live musik, happy people and cars, cars, cars.

-Ehh, sorry about that. I got carried away. We’re were I? Yes, hot rods in the countryside.
Every day three to five smaller car meetings are held. Hot Rod meet at Stumsnäs is one of them.

Ante welcomes with open arms. The café is open and sometimes the Cadillac Club sits down for a coffee and sometimes some other visitors show up.

Patinated rules. On Power big meet everybody runs around and you never get the time to just hang out with new aquintances. The standard qoute is: – Let’s talk during Classic Car Week! Here there’s great places and lots of time for conversation. Here we create bonds with new friends that we then hang out with during winter.

Ingela Gustavsson and Niklas Johansson from Vilhelmina have several rods and Niklas runs Rock On Speedshop. A knowledgeable guy, a mechanic teacher by day and dedicated rodder 24/7. Doors and torped were found on a fen. The rear body and flatbed were found in a barn. – This is the winter car, he said. A B20 Volvo motor with heater. ( I told you so. Rodder 24/7. )
This is the second time I run into this guy and also the second time I lose him again. The Caddy from 1939 has a 472 Cadillac motor. Have to do a coverage on this Mister who’s got the car that I want in my garage. Game on for 2014! Grrr. OHH found it. Josef Kjellgren from Torsby.
