You have imported wheels for 25.000$ all tolled and taxed and you then get the info that you need four certificates to even be welcomed at registration. Is this a time to go another round in the ring? Nope. Put down 1500$ and get it ready to roll with new plates and everything. Have fun, enjoy your car and leave the bureaucracy to the pros.
Tommy Nyberg and Lennart Molle Ericson are professionals. They have spent their lives helping, first as firemen and later on they are saving car lovers from the death of registration and inspection.
– Earlier, before EU, we imported cars from Europe and USA to sell as a side business while we worked at the fire station. Now it’s all inspections, Tommy says.
Molle is zipping coffee looking cool and leaves the talking to Tommy. They met at work at the fire station. Molle was chief and Tommy ran the hose. Both of them had decades of experience with cars behind them. Molle from Philipssons (Mercedes) and Tommy from heavy vehicles.
– We see a lot of 40-50 year olds today that finds cars overseas. They don’t have the time or the energy to get involved in the bureaucracy. We do it all for the customer here, Tommy says.
The shop is brand new. A fire extinguished the shop of ancient lineage that stood at the same spot and Cyklon AB’s new shop was done in February this year. Molle and Tommy have added Andreas Lundgren from Recondobil in Ludvika to do the adjustments before registration- and control inspections.
– Us older guys focus on the papers and contact with the Inspection Office, Tommy says.
Closer to a hundred orders are processed every year and Cyklon takes on anything. Amateur built projects, noise tests, brake tests, archive diving, intermediating with inspection officers from SFRO, tolling and all kinds of certificates.
They even PICK UP cars directly from the harbor, take them to Ludvika and run registration.
– Can it get any easier?
