Historical hot rod?
Standard Vanguard 1949 
When the movie Hot Rod Rumble had its premiere in 1958 in Stockholm Sweden sat Bosse Gamen (The Vulture) Sandberg in the audience excited over the gang The Road Devils.
He must have thought they were really cool for soon after he formed a group with the same name in Stockholm which he and his buddy Pilen (The Arrow) would become two of the leading figures. The Vulture, the Arrow and Henry on the black / white image. 
The story doesn’t tell if any of them have ridden in this Standard Vanguard.
Sometimes you have to be quick
I was out on one of my photo safari for scrap cars when I found this VW Split Window 1953 
A few months after I had photographed it so the owner asked if I wanted the car, and of course I said to yes to that question, but said that I had not the ability because of all the snow . But when it melted away … well ok and I wondered if it could be left to midsummer. I would get it then.
No problem, I was told but that showed to be wrong.
That spring the oldtimer gave it away again not remembering he had given it to me.
That guy was much faster to pick it up as he lived near by.
No meaning to be sad. Just learning from the mistake.
