I become shy! Krantzen is only a crofter boy from Ullånger. To step into the middle of such a well arranged arrangement makes us very humble. This was Krantz Challenge’s first visit Västmanland. We say thank you for a fantastic weekend.
But they drove the hell out of us, the Vastmanlanders.
One hour music with my live band in the square, then two hours car show and then one more hour live music and then move to Krokborns park in the evening and four hours of rock and roll playing.

Hallefors sends a Cadillac
Yep, they hit it hard and clean with the prestigious brand number one, but the road was a bumpy journey where the audience got to see everything that Krantz Challenge has to offer.
Recounting, 20-seconds rule with no show, cliffhangers and Bangs and one was becoming impaled on a Cadillac fin and. . . . Everything happened but let’s take it from the beginning.
The Sun.
The sun hit with full force and heated the square’s paving so the ladies chose to come barefoot in shoes. In other words. Summer and ice cream and hamburgers sold out. The vendors had to run and buy more..
In Krantz Challenge you load a 32 shooter gun with cars backstage and then fires the whole caboodle in front of the audience. Normally, you line up on a field. In Hällefors, they drowe right through the market and straight across the main street.
Annica Bergstrom from Lindesberg came in her 34 three window coupe from Ford. She had owned the car long time and liked it accordingly, as well as the audience.
Sofia Bergstrom handed a win to one of the judges, Kent Rot from Lindesberg. An insider guy with two Dodge 59’s and two Dodges from 08 whom he drove in one to Hallefors.

Sofia Bergström from Grythyttan handed out trophys and hugs. Counted the votes (counter) did Jennie Nyheim from Hällefors. Tina Pirttijärvi from Bredsjö also lifted the show with nostalgic dress and awarding of trophies and prizes. No one had serviced in Krantz Challenge before.

Dan Nilsson talked about his image and movie exhibition that lasted all summer until last August in Karlstad where he showed customs and hotrods.

Hallefors had the neatest barrels in Krantz Challenge’s eight year history.
Someone had PAINTED them. They sparkled in red and blue without a scratch or dent. I wonder if they were primed too ; o)

– You want the barrels, said organizer Michael Stahl afterwards?
– Of course, but … we can not accommodate, we had to admit.
The judges votes are counted by counters that folds ruling by pointing to the winner. Thomas Holm, Alva Holm, 10, and mother Yvonne Holm from Grythyttan. Thomas loaded the daughter and granddaughter in his Ford Ranchero and pulled into the Square.

Krantz Challenge says to the winner: Welcome front of the large grandstand with thousands of eyes and the chance to win the title Norrland Most Popular Car in 2015 and SEK 10,000 as well as exhibit space at three different exhibitions in spring in 2016.

MONIKA in the Cadillac convertible from 1954. BANG. 3000 crowns, hotel for two people for two nights and the place in the Super Final which runs on, primetime, during Classic Car Week top day at the racetrack on the first Saturday of the week – this year on 25 July.
Monika Eriksson and Kent Pettersson from Filipstad have gone to Big Lake Run all years but choosed Hallefors this time. She comes to the Super Final in sharper, contemporary dress, she says. They also have a caravan, Constructam Comet to the car.
-Watch out for Monika in the Super Final , old men.

The night was celebrated in Krokborn Park, the oldest public park in Swedn 240 years old, so beautiful, so maintaned, so perfect in its appeal. An honor for Krantz & Krantz to play there.
