What mustn’t be, of course had to happen. After Myran had booked the gig we discovered that the Opera Carmen was coming to town at the same day and Gottfrid sings there

We’re talkin’ the real deal. The Opera Carmen. It was a war against time.
Rigging 9 am! Can you believe rocker Alfred Krantz leaving his daily job to fit into the Opera schedule? 
Big brother, Alfred, psychologist at the state prison carrying gear at 9 am.
– Criminal time for a rocker. 
Tonight’s drummer Jakob and the bass player Fabian couldn’t come that hour. Tobbe showed mercy. We were able to hire the great rodder for two hours. 
Linecheck. All ok at 11:30 am. Let’s hit the road. 
4 pm Soundcheck. Turn up the bass will you!
-Okey, Fabian said.
– Kiids. 
Krantz&Krantz has two pairs of defense players. Two drummers and two bass players that alternates behind the Krantz. Jakob, bigband drummer and jazz drummer pumps rock tonight. Soundcheck done 5 pm. Gotte takes off to the opera for makeup.
7 pm
The old man goes home for weapon care. The young gun on guitar, Gottfrid hasn’t learned all the tricks yet.
Sanded picks stay in the hand as speed picks up.
At the same time he enters the opera scene for a three hour performance.
Kajutan gets crowded. 
9:10 pm. Happy Friday party. – But come on and start playing now Krantz&Krantz. In the box we’re chewing our nails. He must be here soon or this will go very south. 
Meanwhile at the opera. 
9:50 After three hours. Last crescendo. Afterwards the ensemble reenters the stage to receive their applause. By then Gottfrid is already in the car. 
10 pm. New box, new shirt. Theater makeup still on. 
10:05 LETS GO for four hours of Rock and Roll. – Co-co-co come on everybody. Do the Jail House Rock until you drop.
Do the twist, the mashed potato, do the jive. Let the Friday come alive.

The bad ass guitar hero slam dunk the solos one by one.
00:00 Night in the box. Two hours to go.
No mercy. Jakob fires up the engine in the third set. 
Left hand wammy from Alfred. Bass player Fabian digging in deep.
Eight minute jitterbug gets the pulse going. Awesome crowd. 
Six hours on stage buddy. One more to go.

Music is great in itself but even more fantastic are the memories, the stories, the meetings with all of you the fans, the friends, the dancing crowds, the greetings.

Game over. We made it. In ear out. Load up the bus.
– Should be in bed by 4 am.
Tomorrow it’s Carmen again and the next day after that. Life goes on.
