From shotgun position slides bassist Fabian out. He’s in the band because he has such a coll fifties name.
Funky Fabian thumps up any old tune whatsoever to Earth Wind and Fir pump. Grins bad when we shout “slow and easy Fabbie.”

Last time we stood in a stall slightly larger than a chessboard. Today Namos built a scene wide as Kentucky
Rigging in record time. 1.5 hours. Light, sound, lasers, instruments, DMX everything works except the drum monitor.
– Crappy Stuff. Mackie Thump 15. Works maybe in the slumber of a dusty rehearsal room but not in the hard environment of a tour train.
Travelling sifts. Stuff lying and rolling in the bus year in and year out in Sten & Stanley Case and just working whenn needed are GOLD

The first set is rusty. The second song is too fast. Audience who rushed forward to dance can not keep up in the crazy tempo without transitioning to swing in the half rate. Gotte struggle with the text. Alfred looks in my direction in the midst of war. What is happening? His solo rushing towards us
He wont make it , I think, but his tones flyes over the rooftops in two hundred and I take a breather. Old Goa Flash saves us again.
But chill, Gotte hisses at us before the next song.
The bang, timing and groove is back in track three.
Saturday evening with the audience. It’s a good feeling now. Very good.

Matti had worked with the Final-essay in the Piteå university of Music and have not had time to rehearse everything with us. Interesting rock medley you drove, said Matti afterwards, I havent heard that. – Pros.

In second set the young gun pulls up the guitar for the first time and the crowd is filming something they’ve never seen before. Tripple guitar boogie. Krantz & Krantz make another summer on the road.

In July and early August we jsut don´t have the time to play. We run The Krantz Challenge Car Show in nine locations around Sweden. BUT we are playing as usual on July 27.
