The reception in Gällivare was absolutely fantastic. We drove with the sun in the grill on the bus for eight hours, arrived just before midnight and got Dundrets welcome.
The Motor Club which organizes Midninght Sun Meet in Gällivare with Firro Hansson in charge received us in a Ford Victoria 56, a Thunderbird 1960 and a Studiebaker from 1958. We got to get out of the bus and ride in classic cars up on Dundret Mountain with brand new amazing friends living far above the Arctic Circle. 
Up there it swindled for us as Västernorrland residents experienced only heard of since birth got into suddenly reality. You all know what I’m talking about. A picture says it all. It was ten minutes past midnight. 
During Saturdays Krantz Challenge Car Show there was so much cars that not all held on the prepared planet but they were parked on the roads around it.
New this year was the entry fee but the people came anyway and the contest was framed by audiences in several stages around the show.
The club thrived, the contestants had fun, Norwegians, as were many was playing, the sun surged back and forth between the clouds and the audience had two entertaining hours. BIG story later in Worldkustom as well as with film.
Later arrived pro drummer Matti Arvinder from Piteå University of Music and Emil Sydhage from Ornskoldsvik from Music Makers studio.
We congratulated Emil Music Makers participation in the creation of Italy’s winning song of the Eurovision Song Contest and Emil produced the acclaimed new album from rising star Terese Fredenwall

Tonight was Krantz & Krantz headband with a rock show surrounded by three other bands that filled the evening. 
We vere supposed to play pre-band the famous The Boppers but something had happened on the journey and more were to happen, it turned out.
The sound system would be in place as well as a sound engineer who would serve all bands. From Gällivare, it turned out that it was impossible to talk with the sound technician on the phone. He had a clown-like behavior and had among other things made himself invisible by referring all to Gällivare music manager, who was a top nice car guy but perhaps not fin on rock event. 
After strange statements here and there lent our sound engineer, singer, guitarist, harmonica player trumpeter, image opera singers in the opera Carmen, who is also the youngest member of Krantz & Krantz, Gottfrid Krantz a car and went out to the festival site to talk to the afraid-of-cell-phone sound technician
Gottfrid has gone father Krantz school, always polite, happy, positive, friendly, accommodating. Used to meet people all around Sweden and work out nice solutions. He got nowhere. The sound engineer who was also the drummer sat on the drum chair after a while spinning 180 degrees and turned his back on my son!?
We have played along roads in ten years. When bands come together on the same stage arises fanatstiskt nice chemistry. All are far from home, everyone speaks different dialects, all are committed to each other and they are a big family.
Musicians on the road are happy to see each other and to help each other in an amazing nice way to create a good evening for the audience. Image Krantz & Krantz and The Sunliners in Österbybruk. Much like when the race team lends parts and helps each other hands on.
That had this celebrity missed completely, this after touring with some of the world’s best rock bands. He could not face a verbal, smile, constructive 19-year-old from Krantz & Krantz.
Although he received extra pay for serving all of the evening’s band, we did not get to ssing in their mic’s, playing on their drum kit or using their measly ten channel soundboard
The unworldly proposal from the sound engineer was that we would set up our whole scene backline including drums, though we must not borrow their drum mic’s for then they could “break”. We would rig the whole of our backline including drums, trum mic’s, Singing mic’s and our soundboard and then strangle it together in two channels in their soundboard as they seemed to have borrowed from class 9b:s music room, a ten-channel analog Behringer. !!! Guitar Amplifier looked to be borrowed from nearest youth hostel rehearsal space, a Line 6 toy.
They sang in the SM 57’s.
SM57 is a microfon you pickups amplifiers, snare keg and trumpet with.
-Yes, But rock star in Sweden Svenne Hedlund sang in a SM57: a, you answer.
– Certainly in 1965. 50 years ago.
-Good heavens!!!
After “sound engineer” had become without words, and turned his back to the polite problem-solving Gottfrid Krantz we called the boss of the place Firro (right)and explained the situation.
The handydandy at the stage suggests that we should be feeding our modern digital 25.000 crowns sound board into their borrowed cereal box, that we should be to bunch into a second drum kit with our own trum mics and a lot of other crazy solutions no sensible, professional, touring musicians are doing.”
Firro is no stadge sound champion so we had to take it on car language. Sound technician, you paid extra for serving us feel that we should take our Holley 850 out of our 440 Charger and put it before their bing 17 carb and carpooling on their moped.
-That lit up the mighty Firro. You don’t mess with him.
-You Are the main attraction since Boppers “fell away”, he said, paid the full gage and apologized to us..
We never packed up the instruments. We did not play one tone. We tried everything, but nothing worked
We have never, in all the years, been through something similar.
Now everyone wants to know who I thought behaved in parity with the lake’s most stupid roach.

Mike has also received this “report” and I had a half-hour long conversation with him.
Mike pointed out several factual errors in my article that I corrected and I pointed out several factual errors in his handling of the uncomfortable situation that I do not know if he corrects in the future.

Gällivare’s original desire to Band planner Micke Finell, former sax player in The Refreshments, was that they wanted The famous Boppers band
This was angled away in favor of three made up bands with different names where the accompaniment consisted of the same guys with their “own” loudspeaker system and they were uninterested in the cooperation that characterizes a rock evening with four bands and blocked the only outsider, the rock show with Krantz & Krantz.
Last year, happened about the same thing in Gällivare where strong man Firro had to pay back two dance clubs who come to dance and where dance band from Finell was not at all a dance band plus that one of the members suddenly left the dance orchestra though he also would play on the rock scene, this according to the organizers.
-Pattern go back. . Different band name, the same people. 
When you order a Cadillac limo and a three wheeled moped with bench will arrive on the street so you see the difference instantly. When you order a rock (sound system) with the sound engineer and they deliver refresher debris from the nearest adult education and a sound engineer with expertise and desire that made us wish that they sent a nuthead instead there is nothing that directly “visible” for the audience and the organizer .
– Gällivare was fouled two consecutive years, says Krantz .
Micke Finell disagrees of course.
He put the responsibility on Krantz & Krantz, who would have phoned Mike and asked if they could share stuff with the allmighty.
Sure, we could have it if we had known that the rock the evening’s other three bands we would share common sounds and mixer with in reality consisted of the same guys with their own PA set to a one-band-show with three poster names.
Krantz & Krantz acted as always at rock nights where there are many bands with common sound engineer for all the visiting bands. = Nothing.
Everything is catered for and there is one drum kit eith microphones where the bands adds its own snare and cymbals. Anyone who wants to take their own amp can do that.
– That knows Mr. Finell too.

Dear friends.
We exist for a short time in something we call the universe. There is a marginal galaxy we call the Milky Way. Among hundred million stars in this itty bitty galaxy are some inconspicuous gravel grains that circle around a dying star. We call it the solar system. In this system there is a small planet, Earth.
On this puny planet is a tiny country called Sweden, with a small, small place sometime called Gällivare. There was the June 13, 2015 four rock bands who would play on a small stage.
To see each other, appreciate each other, help each other, hug each other and take care of each other’s completely logical for those who have the least distance to his own importance in the universe.
-For The one almighty whos sits in the center of the universe, we understand that reality seems different.
When Krantz family came home to Härnösand an email was waiting. Krantz & Krantz got an invitation for two gigs in January 2016 the best music scene old shool rock an droll stage in Cape Coral. We played there with Peter Jezewski and his eminent guitarist Christer Bergman, and a visiting Robert Wells in the winter of 2015
Sound , lights, backline and instruments in case we need to be arranged on site by a local band. We know that band. Fantastic nice Americans that know what a Beta58 is.
