One of the reasons why the Swedish manufacturers didn’t succeed was the amount of Jerry rigging. by Jan Silèn
Höckenström’s motor. Camshaft in the open that reacquired adjustments and lubing continually. Even the notches on the cam were adjustable.
Head. Two valves can be seen but why the two holes (sparkplugs?) and why the teardrop form. .
Radiator. Copper tubes
The radiator was probably not that effective even in cold Sweden. The cylinders had also cooling flares and a fan blew air from underneath . That radiator needed help. The motor was both air cooled and water cooled
The crankshaft
– Very advanced ehh?
When the pupils at the welding class i was in back then cleaned out the junk container to weld something together for practices it would look something like that.
