When the garage is at full throttle

I’m positioned in a neat lean against the outside of my house like a cat, squinting into the cloud filled sky. Soon, now, soon, now, no a little bit more, NOW!

When the sun breaks through the cluttered sky the time estimation immediately begins for the next darkening cloud.
– Maybe you can get an half-hour of the May sun on the field in Gussjo?
Running through the house, making coffee, then out again with pot, coffee cup and two cheese crackers. Falling into a dirty chair that has spent the winter outdoors, pours the warm liquid and stairs right into the ball of fire. This wonderful sun.

According to my estimate there’s a good 16 minutes to the next fuzzy cloud. The temperature rises, the jacket is thrown on the ground. It’s May and it’s June weather with a July feeling. It’s summer! Time pass by in slow-motion. Forget running errands in the city, forget tapping on the computer, forget all musts.
– It’s sunny side up and the counter of life is set to quality time.

In other places cars are backing out of garages. Newly waxed precious pearls with shiny hub caps and painted manifolds. The smell of paint comes to life when rubber comes into contact with sun warm asphalt. Salted roads dry. City streets are being swept. Sidewalks burst into an air of vitality.

I’ve got a staple fixated on the garage door facing south. On the outside wall is a nifty hook. When I get to insert the hook into the staple reality smiles.
That’s when the garage is at full throttle once again.
