One winner of the Music Challenge March , The Quints from Skinnskatteberg. Further, a record for the competition in the number of voters !!
Marchl month´s Music Challenge was a hornet’s nest. The Quints was trailing in the beginning. In the lead vas The Western Cats from Stöde (T. H.)
After a half month had The Quint s hang on the lead and when the final stretch began they shared the first place with The Chapsticks from Trollbäcken (below).
The jury was devided and sprawled.
They liked the fourth band Walles Gang (right) for their evocative swinging reggie-inflitrerade accordion blues, meticulously performed by skilled musicians.
They liked the Stöde-country and looked through live uptake quality.
They liked The Chapsticks who dared to keep the tempo down and dared to trust the instrument’s own singing.
Towards the end the Quints pulled away in th epoll and because the jury was basically divided into four bands it took only small changes and when the time was out someone had changed its foot to The Quints advantage and we received quite surprising, since this began as a hornet’s nest, one winner in March. You must have some luck too.
The jury’s motivation.
The arrangement wins. The Quint takes on simplicity and clarity. They use the funds they have to send a common, coherent and tidy signal to the receiver. An example of good music where the total is greater than the individual components’ input.
– 1 + 1 equals 3 when playing in the same direction.
