Worldkustom meet

This summer Worldkustom is welcoming all readers on a banana peel to a new meeting in Nykvarn near Södertälje. People say there’s gonging to be a thousen cars at Worldkustom’s ALL AMERICAN DAY from what I’ve heard?! Nah, what’s this unprofessional invitation?  Easy Bud, it’s getting worse.  

Got a phone call the other day.
-Hear now Krantzipantsi . All magazines have their own meeting.  We’re firing up a big one in Nykvarn 2015. Do you want it?

It sounded like a Google spam from England. “You’ve been choosen”.  I listened, hang upp and glared empty at the wall.

-What was this? What happened? What’s Nykvarn? What did they say their name was? Ronnie and the King?  It sounded like a Betamax movie for children.

-“New adventures with Ronnie and the King”, from 12 years.
This was not strange. This was way out weird.

I drove down to Nykvarn. You only live once. It’s gona be a good story to write about if not anything else.

There it got even better. Ronnie looked like the Swedish comedian Vanheden and the King insisted that his second name was King.

My daughter Ellen has just seized the two for photografing  Ronnie Bergwall and  Lars Kung. It’s her fault. Her band, Ellen Kay, played at Ronnie and the Kings Rockabilly -thing and that’s when Ronnie got the idea for her to contact Pop. Living in Sala she will now as penalty, keep track of everything.

Ronny showed to be a real bigblock. He propelled a lot of stuff in the hobby. USA-travels, container cargo, initiated car clubs, held music events, you name it. Lars King was everything but a Betamax hero. He was a true entrepreneur and owned the summer atraction Soapbox Country for kids.

We got coffee and cinnamon bread and they layed out the details and how it’s go’na be. I didn’t hear much. I had 400 miles in my but, went to the restroom, spille coffee and dropped a bread under the table.

Mats Carlsson from  USAbil.nu (Swedens biggest webplace for amerikan cars) and co-owner of Worldkustom was on the contrary very profitable. He said difficult words like lease and timeplan.
-Right at them, I thougt.
Then we shook hands and I’m pretty positive that ment we had a deal.

Ellen took a snap. The we went home.   It was me, Vanhe-, no Ronnie, Mats Carlsson och his Majesty.
