Worldkustom shapes up

Worldkustom sharpens. Here comes the news of the day. Many are waiting around the corner in the magazine  that’s up to date.  

40000

40,000 readers steadily.

  1. The magazine is now steady at 40,000 visitors per month. When Worldkustom began a year and a half ago, the figure was 4,000. A tenfold increase in seven quarters.

Browser version removed

  1. The PDF will be deleted. There are far too few who reads it. Just a few thousand. The signal was strong that “many” wanted a browser version but it was evidently so that this group was loud. Not big. The number of readers does not justify the cost to make it.

Cell phone readers

  1. According to a recent market survey 40%  reads  in the phone. These readers are not buying any printed papers and they get to Worldkustom through Facebook !!

Facebook

  1. Facebook is no longer a cute Humtey-Dumtey page for people seeking college buddies from the past. Facebook is the hub of the web in 2015. Everything is spinning around Facebook.

The map redrawn

  1. It’s time for old men as your editor to read the new map. More importantly for advertisers. It’s not 1985 anymore.

Four minutes

  1. No hang on a website today. This is how it works for the majority of new readers in the hobby:

An article will appear in the feed on Facebook. “Build your own Chevrolet 57” If the reader sitting on his/her lunch thinks it looks interesting, its clicked and linked  to an  individual article on Worldkustom. The visitor stays for  4 minutes and 37 seconds. When finished reading, you do not go to other pages on Worldkustom. You go back to Facebook.

Advertisers – you have four minutes .

  1. Worldkustom now open to advertisers who read the map. You have four minutes! You have to show up in the phones advertisers! Be seen in the individual texts. Is the article well shared on Facebook your ad can reach 1.000 in an evening. Or a million over time. Your ad always remains in the text and spins around the earth forever. Your ad does not end up in the attic of a bent paper magazines.

New ownership.

  1. Finally. Lars-Åke Krantz is now the sole owner of the magazine since Mats Carlsson chose to focus on their businesses on the West Coast. The new order has been in the best of terms and Lars-Åke Krantz says a big thanks to Mats Carlsson, who has been a committed and positive partner. Cooperation with Mats Carlsson and his USAbil.nu will continue in other forms.
