First of all we would like to thank all counties that has contacted us, wanting to have the competition.
We try to alternate and visit new places as much as we can, at the same time as we find it hard to pass on the counties that books us every year.
In 2015 we will be in THREE new counties and will revisit the places we have been in before.
For those of you, who got a no this time, please get back to us. As you know, anything can happen in Krantz Challenge.
2014
Last year was an unbelievable journey through Sweden with sun, sun and sun. We broke the record of biggest crowd in all cities accept one. We had sun there as well but neighboring cities had rain and hesitated in going and that is totally understandable.
New trend: Krantz Challenge important to the municipality.
– No, we don’t know each other and aren’t friends since way back, the head of municipality in hometown Härnösand, and me.
Fred is from Stockholm I think. Never mind that. The image is significant to how Krantz Challenge has developed.
Earlier it was just a car thing. Today Krantz Challenge is a municipal event that attracts thousands of people to the city and its downtown. The inner streets are let available as well as the central square and the best spot in the tourist calendar.
Krantz Challenge fills cities.
When Krantz Challenge first came to Haparanda it was a car show with 400 cars. Two years later 10.000 people came to the show.
When Krantz Challenge first came to Hudiksvall it was a one day event. The municipality immediately requested more days. Today Hudiksvall has an entire motor week that all and all welcomes 100.000 people that leaves prints in hotel reservations, camping spots and restaurants.
The cruising in Härnösand has by tradition always been a tragic event. That is a fact many from around there can support. When the city officials invited Krantz Challenge to the party the motor club ran out of the one thousand printed cruising stickers at nine at night and they instead tried to count the arriving vehicles.
– We gave up trying to count after 1200 cars, a happy president of Hernö Cruisers, Kicki Wiklund said afterwards. It was a success!
Krantz Challenge wants to thank all fantastic clubs that spends weeks and months doing all the prep work. Without you there would be nothing. It’s all about teamwork.

The season of 2015 has already started !!
The first Krantz Challenge competition nominating the contenders to the 2015 season super finale in Rättvik was held in Vännas in August.
This because the finale is always held during week 30 and 31 on Classic Car Week in Rättvik on prime time, the starting Saturday at the horse track, this year the 25th of July. Vannas, who runs the challenge by their own machine with full rights nominated the Melinder family from Gubböle with a big block Chevy built in a 1931 Ford Hotrod to 2015. A car that can win the entire thing!!
Sweden’s best way to see all cool cars. Cars that DRIVE in front of the audience, with quick interviews, voting, raffle, intensity, murmur, excitement and music! To the Superfinale all the counties’ winners will meet in a battle of the Sweden’s best. The battle collects 3000 visitors in and around the bleachers. Visit Krantz Challenge close to your home and take the chance to be in the Super finale!

Krantz Challenge 2015 will come to . .
1. Vännäs 30th of may run their own Krantz Challenge on franchise basis. A terrific place to be at just next to the Motor museum with lots of rockabilly afterwards. 
Coyote Cruisers goes all in! They really know this by now and word of mouth has spread. Full throttle, 32 cars competing for a spot in the Superfinale. Barbeque, museum, tractor parade and just warm, cool fun! Norrland is karate-big and there are plenty of cars.
2. NEW TOWN: Gällivare Saturday 13th of June Midnight Sun Meet
The people of Gällivare are really good at traveling to other close cities like Ume, Skellefte, Pite, Lule, Happis, Torneå, Kemi, Rovaniemi, Oulu, Mo i Rana, Tromsö! Now it’s time to give back! Cruise to Gällivare 13th of June – And don’t even dare to forget about Kiruna.
-Kiruna, Christ, it’s mandatory attendance in Kiruna says Krantz :0), well aware about the fact that car enthusiasts can’t be commanded. We are a free people. Maybe the last of them.
Krantz & Krantz festival band with songs from the 50’s and 60’s. Krantz&Krantz are warming up the night! And Krantz is grabbing the microphone to chat some during the cruising. Worldkustom will photograph, film and do some features on all car meets of course.
3. NEW CITY: Hällefors Saturday 27th of June Nostalgic Weekend, Cruising, music in the park.
Everything all at once in Hällerfors and thousands of people in the city all weekend. Saturday will be a full day with a car show, Krantz Challenge, cruising and Rock&Roll in the park at night. NOW Hällefors has got the chance to send a car to the Superfinale and maybe take home the title that only three have: Norrland’s most Popular Car where 350$ is in the pot as well as placement on three car exhibits with hotel nights.
Krantz&Krantz will play during the day and during the night.
4. Trelleborg and Palmträffen takes it to the next level with Krantz Challenge third year in a row and this time the Southernes will run the show on their own!!
The weather inn Trelleborg was sun sun sun. The problem was that it still rained in the rest of Skåne and STILL lots and lots of people and cars joined the day. Palmträffen will once again roll the weather dice and are doing Krantz Challenge in 2015 in that lovely southern accent.
Shiver may the rest of the country be doing. The area will be bigger, hamburger trailer bigger, power chords larger and the speaker easier to understand in 2015. It’s all ready to roll and looks like they’re gonna hit a new crowd record. Don’t miss the chance. The only one down south.
5. Gumboda Hed Saturday 4th of July. Last year a success! Rock and roll, summer, dance and camping at the huge party area in Västerbotten. 
Gumboda is all about all that good stuff!! Great bands and lots of cars. Fantastic party venue with barns and pubs and party tents and dance floors to get lost in. This year the entire forest will glitter in chrome since all historic vehicles will be let in to the festival area. What a view! Don’t miss it. Save the date of the entire weekend! Big artists and well-known dance bands is the cream of the crop.
6. Härnösand Saturday 11th of July. Music party and giant cruising with over 1000 cars. 
In Härnösand the entire city joins in! Krantz Challenge concerns all the 16.000 inhabitants and attracts people from a 13 mile radius. Härnösand will be wide open! Streets, town squares, roads, restaurants, hotels, motels and parks. The municipality has ordered it to be this way and people applause to the beat of the music and cars in the Challenge. All ages will be on blankets along the cruising street. Music on five stages around town. Blue sea, sun tanned people and looong night. Magic!
7. Hudiksvall Saturday the 18th of July. The event that increased to an entire motor week and a HUGE cruising at night. 
Hudiksvall has gone completely cray-cray!! The city already had a big cruising. Then Krantz Challenge showed up and just as in Härnösand the municipality is on like donkey-kong and is now talking about an entire motor week. It’s totally impossible to tell all in five rows. Look it up on the internet, find info and go there. Saturday will be a boiling pot of great cars, music and fun. On Friday Krantz&Krantz rock’n’roll band will play and Krantz will be speaker in the center of town on Ladys Run. Top of the line.
8. Rättvik Saturday 25th of July. First the local Challenge and then the SUPERFINALE. World class cars.

There is talk about changing the schedule on Classic Car Week. I’m only saying. DON’T MISS THE FIRST SATURDAY ON THE TRACK.
You will get to see world class showcars turn, run, roll and battle for three hours for the audience’s vote. THERE’S NOTHING LIKE IT ON EARTH.
The best cars from all the other places around Sweden will battle to win the Superfinale. Are you psyched yet?!
The pressure and the will to win are so big that tears fall out of disappointment as well as joy.

People are up in the bleachers sobbing when it’s over.
– If you never heard about anything like this before then you’ve heard right!!!
9. NEW CITY Nykvarn, in-between Södertälje and Strängnäs, 8th of August. All American Day. NEW CAR MEET together with Rockabilly.nu and USAbil.nu
All American Day will be so much more than a regular car show. We’re talking bikes, tractors, trucks, music, cars, better food, more happenings, great activities for the children. The area is perfect with wide open spaces for historical vehicles of all kinds and Krantz Challenge will of course be here. Winning car will get 350$ and a spot in the Superfinale with two lay-overs in Rättvik 2016.
Lådbilslandet in Nykvarn has a family friendly environment with restaurant, pub and the dream for families: A little city for the children to drive around in with little cars.
When the night comes the dream for all that want to extend this great August night will be able to do se. THREE new, great, exciting bands will join the stage in the finale of Worldkustom Music Challenge with bands from all over Sweden, everything overseen by Ellen Kay Band which may or may not entertain this magical evening. Count on a night full of rock’n’roll. Worldkustom will photograph, film and cover all events of course.
