The Super-entrepreneur buys 100 classic american cars and starts his own museum.

The redneck car guy who got rich is unwrecked by the success. When he has landed with his helicopter on Power Meet (one of the worlds biggest car events for classic american cars is held in sweden) and walks the swap meet iles in his ugly shorts buying old signs he’s right in his back alley.
Leif-Ivan is not hiding behind, company boards, answering machines or tinted glas. He wants to take a beer with you.
-I can’t help it. I love people, he says.
Worldkustom just got an unique interview with the man so many has written so much about especially after that TV-schock program about the the wealthiest men in Sweden.
We found a genuine easy going car guy and a genuine family.
One of the newly bought cars that are shipped to Sweden for the museum. A 1954 Oldsmobile 98 with all options. Air intake on the rear fenders leads air to the airconditioning in the trunk that forwards the cold air into the back of the coupe . Rare. 
The Supermuseum World Of Classic’s in Stockholm is almost ready to open.
9000 sq feet is furnished with Cadillac Eldorado Biarrittz 1959. Eldorado Seville 1959,”Lettercars” from Chrysler meaning 300 C, 300 D up to 300 G.
Furthermore all Chevrolet years from 1955 to 1965 , Muscle Fords, eight second doorslammers and other tire burning monsters i.e. all the good stuff from the American car history.
Leif-Ivan is no rookie. He has been dealing with cars for 30 years. He started a retro café with all the nostalgic stuff we see today 35 years ago! See magazine above.
– I was way ahead of time, he says. I had to drench that. Now in 2015 it’s a must . Thats why he’s built a 7000 sq inch banquet hall on top of the museum with a stage big as a two bedrum two baths flat. 
Well, ahh it’s for my body Peter Jezewski’s 12 man rock and roll band who plays 50’s and 60’s musik, he says.
For the band to be heard he just bought a brand new sound system suited for a concert hall.
– But on the opening I’ll just have Peters trio. More cosy and I can mingle around and have time for all the 300 VIP-guests, says Mr. Karlsson.
Never without his Susanne. The couple has been living in Florida for three months per year since 1983. During that time the family has expanded. Nowadays children and grandchildren are filling up the house that has become to small.
Never bumptious
The family is so easy going with great hospitality. It’s immediately feldt. Leif-Ivan started at a gas station at 13 and bought his first american car . At 15 he worked at a bigger station that demanded 15 year of age. He sold sawing machines. Susanne is also from the same part of Sweden. She cleaned train wagons with her mom at that time when they become a couple in life. The Karlsson family loves Karaokee. Not one at a time though. They have 5 mices at the same time and wails away likes wolfs to the moon. They live in a too small house in Forth Lauderdale where the grown up kids have to share rooms if they are there at the same time.
All juniors have stepped up to the koncern leading different branches. The humor is always there and the generosity. Son Pierre (right) had received a package with an oil pan. The ugly parcel he put in the middle of the dining room so he could see it watching TV. Father and son has sawed in the plastic of the boat together mounting heavy duty sub basses and amps.
Opening last of April.
World Of Classic’s and sales is opened for Vip guests the 30th of April 2015. Worldkustom will follow the preparations all the way from Florida through the snowy streets of Sweden and on to the opening. Of course we’ll also cover the opening together with the TV cannel TV4.
The Mustang is mint and waiting for a container. It’s a 1968 GT with the illusive 428 Cobra Jet motor and a stick.
He pops the door on his tripple white Cadillac convertible from the last year 1976 and we take off for Miami. We have a burger at Burger King and he deletes dressing and bread.
– I’m to fat.

The cuttings on his legs says it all. They are opened and the blood vessels are moved to his hart. He had a massive cardiac arrest at 39. The now 55-year old has been on full throttle and everything takes its toll.
-Nahh, I was back in the saddle after three days. I couldn’t sit still. I was back in business and have accelerated after that, says the man who eats hart medicine like M&M:s.
Today every TV channel wants him . The want to do reality series of his whole family but Susanne says no. He’s allready been in the program Swedish billionaires showing his 22 room mansion with waterfall in his front yard and lake view in the middle of Stockholm.
At Shipping Cars R Us in Miami is a 1955 Chevrolet all new. The 57 behind has a reared bigblock on Metanol.
-That I’m gonna fire up and flip the throttles inside the museum, he says. That should wake the visitors up.
At his home he has built a lake and a waterfall. His Cigarette Top Gun Unlimited offshore boat with two V8:s, each one with two superchargers flyes on the waves and on the magazines pages especially as he has written The King of Fucking everything on it.
– I hate the Swedish Jante law he says
(Swedish expression containing the thought that everybody is equal and no one is supposed to stand out in any way)
– The idea that everybody is a nobody and can not do anything that separates him from the mass is totally destroying every mans life and puts a lid on every society. Jante pulls everybody’s lives and our whole country to a full stop, he says.
The sun drills down its hot beams into the white leather sea of the Cadillac. Today eight containers starts to fill up with classic cars. The sweat is dripping down his nose .
He’s been working hard with titles and bill of sales and transports. He is trailing a bit but leaves what he has to Mattias Brännström, a Swede that owns Shipping R US in MIami. Cars are also waiting in Texas and soon it’s opening.
Susanne Getten is a cheerful south Swede that keeps all customers happy.
Leif-Ivan laughs.
-Nah, lets call it a day. Susanne Getten, another Swede takes care of it all. Let’s party. The boat is waiting to take us out to sea, says Karlsson.
. “The boat” is not the Cigarette but a comfy thing in white leather with , microwave, hotel beds, fridge, tv and twin V8:s that takes 15 people to 60 mph on the waves.
-That’s good. Then I can go 40 on half throttle and just cruise he says and turns the sound system up so the Ferry islands can hear it.
The son Pierre Karlsson and the licensed skipper Joakim Sköldhammar makes some comments about Leif-Ivans skills regarding floating vessels in shallow water. Party!

Vi var till ditt museum idag, det var imponerande att se alla dessa bilar. Har själv ägt några på 70 talet. Underbart att se dem igen. Din son tog emot oss på ett trevligt sätt. Lite svårt att hitta till museum annars var allt helt ok. /Lars och Anita från Hudiksvall

bilar och ditt museum. Bor i Falkenberg och Jönköping Har precis avslutat ett stort byggprojekt.med 3 styck stora husprojekt med lägenheter jämte havet vid Skrea strand / Falkenberg. Byggt 30 m från havet på gamla vin o Sprits tomt som är friköpt av BB / Pettersson o Hansson.
