In August, The Rods in Härnösand held their reunion. The pictures speak for themselves. Joviality under the birches and the place is called Sunny Mountain Butter Field. (The equivalent in English) Beautifully told, beautifully implemented. One delights.

The rods took it beautifully in both meanings. A pleasant reunion. Coffee aroma and cow dung. Children playing, lake pipes and barn red. Andreas Nygren from Ljustorp builds a hot rod in the garage. Came in a 1961 PV with four Marschalls and the classic, padded covers.

Patrik and Gunilla Lindholm changed the Cuda against a 32 first and backed 40 years. Then they cut four more years. Now, they report in their 1928 Ford Tudor 1929 with 1932 frame, Swedish registered year 2013. Got it? I did not. Hot rodders are magicians.

He just liked the idea of buying a V8 car and fiddle with. For several years he tinkered. Janne rang one evening.

Christer Pettersson has a “regular Dodge 57 no more no less” but there is something magical about it. When seen in the streets and on cruisings and exhibitions it takes hold of the eye. The Dodge Coronet from – 57 has IT. Congrats Christer.
