– You want to keep in touch of what’s going on, Andreas Boström in Arbrå said.

– How it’s going?

Still run into readers that miss the chronicles in Wheels Magazine.
-In Wheels!! I wrote for them about the same time as the dinosaurs hunted on the moors of Uppsala.

Sometimes I think the time really has stopped for the car enthusiasts. They get their gas at IC, double folds the driver’s license and search for CAR in the soda fridge.

It’s great having you along for the ride. Life is a drag racing strip. You’re up on the bleachers for the first 18 years. Then you’re overly excited sitting in the start pit, get the green light and give the gas all you’ve got in a crazy hurry to pass the finish line. You push it into second gear and have kids, in the roaring third the kids moves out, on four the acceleration levels out and you’re doing 180 and sees the end plummeting into the windshield.
-You only get to ride once …. If you’re not Hindu. They ride several times but can get a kick bike next time if they’re unlucky.

Received stuff was it.

Steering wheel covers
It started during my time on Wheels Magazine. I can still find lion yellow steering wheel covers in the attic. I think it came ten of them when I wrote that I wanted but couldn’t find.

Angels
Angels is what I received most. Silver, glow-in-the-dark, chrome, red, blue, reflex angels, leather and all kinds of flyers in envelopes, left on the seat in my car through open windows and underneath the windshield wiper. Girl stuff.

Cadillac stuff.
A road sign, a wind shift, a wing, a lazer cut 59, metal cars, plastic models, a 59 cake from the national national archive in Härnösand, sown pillow, calculator, ventilator cover, sown fabric canvas and Wunderbaums.

The grinder.
In consideration of my very complicated relationship with the circular saw I received from Arne and Björn Friber in Lobonäs a fitted saw. Hope you had fun putting that thing together you darn bushmen builders.

Boxes of letters
Hello. Ever heard of email? I have boxes with this antique way of communication. Just waiting for a sandal-wearing runner with doodling on a torn out page from the Talmud.mailboxThe letters are delivered into a snappy container by the road. One day refinisher Krister Norman from Övik came by with a  flaked mailbox. Whoorah, I got a custom box in my driveway on Cadillac rd. and life got a silver lining.

Furthermore: An office chair in wood from the fifties, mugs, tools, books and trophies.

A drink named after me, a song, cards, toy car from an attic upstate New York, a rock from Svappavara mill.

A  white hand-made Dala-horse that nowadays stays in my Florida house by my cutest fan Tyra from Falun, six years old.
-Hi Krantz, she said and handed over a white knight she painted herself.

A vise stolen from SJ, Computer sticks, DVD’s, sharp edged shoes sice 11, sharp edged shoes small as in picture, t-shirts for the family until retirement, a wet wrestling shove into a water filled bath tub by a motor-muscle guy on Gotland and of the great enthusiast Janne Eneroth an ice cold bath in 46 degree water in Hoting, that donkey.
-If you haven’t been mentioned. Call yourself lucky.

FB2Best friends in all countries ( Don’t think that I don’t know you are sneak-reading in Finland, Norway, Denmark and with Worldkustom, who knows where else.)

– It’s been a party and you haven’t been guests. You have been main characters.
– I have everything to thank you for.
Well that’s just sad. It sounds like the old man is round off. Is he quitting?
– Are you stupid or what?

Have you heard about the time I offered a ride in my Chevy without master brake cylinder in 1978?
– Naw, that’s what I thought.

We’ll head forward in 180. Boström wants to know how it goes.

  1. Lysande Lars-Erik !
Sitter i vardagsrums soffan hos grabben i Karlskrona med “paddan” i knäet
och läser din krönika Fådda grejer, Så bra !

  2. En soffa i Karlskrona!

Det är roligt med input från alla läsare.

Man har litet svårt att se läsekretsen när man sitter på vinden och stirrar in i skärmen.

Kul att det funkar att läsa på paddan också.
