Peter likes the harmony-friendly rock’n’roll that requires a lot of fine tuning. That one that’s on the verge of do-wop with its beautiful harmonies but still has got that bass drum beat, requires hefty guitars and as in Peter’s case involves a complete brass section and in addition to that even a choir quartet! We’re talking out maxed Elvis session on stage!
One who attends a Be Bop A Luba show gets an entire ten man band straight up.
– It has never reached this magnitude of success before, says Peter Jezewski. We get standing ovations every time, everywhere.
– What’s the trick Peter?
– I have stayed in the spotlight for a long time and have had a lot of songs passing through. In this show we have included the top hits from the 36 years I have been in the business. We play 54 high tempo songs that made the final cut and then the musical joy just follows.
The show has guests like Towa Carson, Tone Norum, Svenne Hedlund and Janne Frisk, guitarist in Hep Stars. The show train keeps on rolling to Norway and Germany and Peter, who just turned 56, isn’t planning on slowing down any time soon. The church tour was a success as well and new ways of approaching his melodic rock waits ahead.

The voice has it going for him. Peter Jezewski’s voice has got a quality that only gets better with age. When Poetry in Motion fills the arena the goose bumps travel faster than a speeding bullet. Sweet seventeener’s as well as seniors in their seventies gives standing ovations to the phenomenon of Jezewski. Sweden’s very own Elvis even though he never has imitated or copied. He just has it. The voice, the look, the movement.
As we all know, Elvis did Karate. What we maybe didn’t know was that Peter Jezewski has a second dan black belt in Karate. Although, something that everybody immediately feels is the great connection that Peter shares with his audience. In-between songs he warmly share anecdotes and exciting insights from his life as an entertainer. A complete performer were the band, the brass section and backup singers are entitled to lots of praise for their dedication and team spirit. It really shows that they are having fun.
