The Metal Artist’s F100

Rodger Harvey from California manufactures dream gates to the large entrances, among other things. When he looked out a car for himself a car, the choice fell on the Ford F100 1955. by Krantz

Rodgers craftsmanship are all around the farm in Florida.
But wait now? California you said?
Mr. Harvey moved from California to Florida for the climate and way of life.

-A lot more relaxed here in Florida than in California, he says, and the weather is much better. We have cold. Here it is tropical year round, the pulse is calm and life is a maximum of comfort, he observes. He cut down a Pumello from the tree and gives me.

Rodger answered and now he backs out of the paving that begins at the garage and winds past towering trees and plantings out of the gate, he made himself to the road. The house is hidden but well inside the metal culture is all there polished and planned. As with the car.

Form and color in such a cringing mix that you want to pat it.

1955 Ford built these darlings who was named F100.

A small truck with a 292 Y-block V8 with its different firing order rumbles pleasantly in the small cab.

Rodger has built on it for nine years.

-Nah, there are many finer builds out there but I you wanna please go ahead, says the laid-back Califlorida man.

Today there is  Chevrolet 350 Crate of Costa Mesa Engineering with 350 automatic and the 9-inch rear axle of the car.

The wheel  is from 1933, the generator provides 100W and steering column’s from Ididit.

He bought the car when the owner, who tinkered with it for two years, had low level in the  mattress and his father-in-law-tipped Rodger.

You’d like it, he said short and Rodger went looking. A total of ten years of work is in the car back and forth.

The result  is a soft and delicate renovation wrapped in baby blue with Chevrolet’s pepita outfit and a completely unique plate in the beds forefront signed artist Rodger Harvey.

We took a stroll in the garden before I went home and put the knife in Pumello.
