-Yes soo, he says, and I tremble and hesitate.
Jarmo sees that I solidified to ice and bounce to the rescue.
He captures the lady of the house, Annika and draws a Finnish tango away at the steering wheel muff shelf.
Tango without music look like chi gong on steroids. This goes south, I think, but then something happens.
Annika giggles and the mustache starts to lift on the hunter.

1963 Chevrolet Impala SS convertible.
The year was 2006 when the pair drove into the garage with it for the first time. The car ran well and the couple was often seen at local meetings around Österbybruk. In addition, they began to show up at Säters Nostalgia Days.
We’ve probably gone to Sater ten years in a row say the two and glance at each other. Annika has unfolded after the tango and taken a place next to her Peter and it is now that we find the answer to the first question, all in Helgesson’s garage.

-Because Swedes do like Annika and Peter.

– I had to build a carport recently, says Peter. The everyday driver car did not get a room for itself in the garage
The whole truth of the red and white Nomad 1959 though is that Annika uses it for large parts of the year. Also a daily driver so to speak. Annika one day decided that she would have a station wagon. A spacious car with a roof.
– I drive it to work now, she says. Why not? I love the Yankee cars so why not use them to the max. It sounds so simple and right. Riding in forty-five-year-old , renovated pampercar car daily.
– Yes, but certainly, it feels so abvious when Annika says it in that way.

First come first go
The Impala the SS was bought in 2006. Then came the Nomad in 2010 and most recently a 1954 Chevrolet. They buy a car every five years, that is. The 54 was the last to come in the garage and the first to go out today.
– Well, I wanted it right away, as I saw it, said Peter.
The slant six hisses out the big car of the garage seemingly without effort. Saturated blue with stylish chrome it sits nicely on the driveway. I climb into the back seat and shut the door with a gentle clunk.
1954. None of us were born. Here we are now in full admiration of the oldie who breathes vigor and vitality.
-I Like the round fifties more and more, says Peter.
-Nah buddy, this is perfect. It just glides away in 50 miles/h to Wheels in Älvdalen or to the Power Meet in Västersås, he says.
Sounds great, but you hide something your rascal, I think. I wonder what’s in your closet? One wants to reveal all to the Worldkustom readers.
Annika sufes up next and I forget myself.

-The interior is ordered new from the United States, says Annika.
The Nomad has been an empty shell, inported from the US via Jarmos junk yard that car is a fun place with many American cars at various stages. Now it is a piece of jewelry. A jewel, a sugar kiss in red candy that tastes more and untinted is so neat, I suddenly discover. Tinted glass is cool but see this!
So invitingly beautiful !! Clear glass makes the salon inside glisten illuminated. It took the car reporter 57 years to discover that truth.
– The car is a compromise, says the couple. Convertibles’s fun, but not so snug. We also wanted to bring the dogs. It was a combination of possibility to use it often and a little ruff yet with the all the looks that the late fifties address.
A compromise ?! you say ?!
-My God, I think. The station wagon’s a killer!
Suddenly I notice that everybody went into the garage. I have been left out walking two mute laps just to you know enjoy …
Back in the garage Peter is missing and I sense something fishy. Is it that he haven’t come out of the closet yet?
In that case, I will find him. I see a moose horn with oil pipeline tubing on the wall and an opposite door.
I pull up the door, send the lens in fireing four quick shots with the camera.
– Ha! Now I’ve got you!
He stands in the middle of the floor with a … a … a Vespa!
-Whell now you greaser. Now I caught you in the act!
The image is blurry but if you look closely you can see that it is Peter Helgesson.
Question two, what Peter has in the closet ?, answered. A 1953 Vespa, which will remain just like this barn finding emphasized, he admits right at the crime scene.
