Zephyrhills 2015 part 2

Zephyrhills swap meet is big enough. You cut it in a day if you have to and can enjoy two days if you have time. Auction, swap, sale cars in leisurely pace with the chance to bargain at the not too exploited meeting. Part two. by Krantz

I  like Zephyrhills meeting where it shows up on Florida’s west coast in February. The resort is located 45 minutes north of Tampa and  is very small so the shelter must be booked in time.

On the other hand, I got a single room as a walk-in just like that  the same evening for those who want to gamble.

This year, the prices had fallen on some cars but unfortunately the dollar had risen on its hind legs and reached out to 8,70 krones. Yet there were deals to make.

Continued from part 1 in September.

z31You become mute.

z10Cool sofas I have seen before  but …

z11

… Mingle table to hang on were new to me.

z12

$ 5800 for sofas and 2300 for the  tables. With the lights on  in the dashboard the center of any  room

THUNDERBOLT racing. The legendary legacy of the time Ford built a few hundred crazy machines with virtually 427 racing engines, and sold on the street, all to show its superiority on the race track.

z28

Companys could  not compete with cars that were not manufactured in series in Stock Car Racing. Therefore, they made some hundred and sold. How  about a Falcon 427 to go to the mall with.   z29

As a moped with a  Kawasaki Engine.

z24

Happy wanderer . 2015 was a better year to find bargains than in 2014. Prices are going down in dollar.
z34

Unibody 1961 Ford in show finishes. A  prize winner for sale where the owner was willing to trade up or down.

Extreme Cars with only the best and thousands of hours can be difficult when it comes to realizing  the value.

z33

A fantastic worked car anyway. Without frame that is.

Hottie in the auction hall

z47

Hotties Swedish meeting.Klas Ruteberg, Anette Andersson, Mattias Brännström,  Bernard Laven  and Chris Johansson switched from theAmerican language  to five different Swedish dialects suddenly.

z59Rat rod but yes,  ohh so furiously right. Sometimes the result is much more than what the ingredients on paper promises. A un-chopped different black colors Chrysler 31 rod with Chevy small block, bathroom checkered torpedo and sheet metal rims – how does that sound? I know  ….  but it looked  awesome.  Ready to drive in  the streets in Sweden for 180,000 krones shipping, tax, toll, registration and inspections  included.

Little . . .

Well-preserved pickups are  hard nowadays.  No more 3000 dollar. This was a bargain of 2015. 72,000 miles and $ 9,000. Text in the windshield : Everything works on the car. The owner wishes he could say the same.

z55

Many fun rods for sale. 1941 Chevrolet inline  six.

z60_32500

Oh waow that we know very well . What did that thing go for now? Well, 240 000 Swedish.

z36

Different construction. Probably a newer pickuo with an old cab

z37

Should have checked it but … it smelled  good from the food court by this time . We conclude with something more traditional

z50

1932 Ford Roadster with an big white  paper of goodies   No price. Just call Randy and everything will work out.

No, by the way, we have to take today’s stomachache why-have-I-always-so-little-money-when-a-Charger-comes-flying?

z48

z49

Sold before the wheels stopped. We arrived just when it was over.

Lucky us  the toilets were close so we could regulate stomach acidity.

A 1970 Charger rolled in and WHAM. The guy barely stepped out of the car and it was gone. We rub it in  by attaching the  info note between the seats.
