SWEDEN. This Ford Country Sedan 1959 ended up here in the woods after a dance orchestra had driven off the road just outside Hudiksvall in the early 60s. by Kent Åberg.
It was bought then as parts car for another 1959 Ford with melted motor. The engine was a 312cu V8 with a 3 speed manual.
It was complete except for the engine when it was here in the woods but over the years it has lost most of it.
People have just cleared it without the owner’s permission, which is a pity for such a stately carriage was worthy of a better fate, but back then a 1959 Ford was just scrap in the public eye.
It is only recently the old station wagons have acknowledge their true value again.
